Let us paint you a picture…
Harmony had always been fascinated by the world of Music, Art, & Dance. The vibrant melodies, captivating paintings, and graceful movements held a special place in her heart. However, she had never taken the leap to enroll in any classes, fearing the unknown and the intimidating enrollment process. She was determined not to let her children miss out on the chances she had never mustered the bravery to chase after.
One sunny morning, as Harmony walked past the local HEB, she noticed a colorful poster advertising Music, Art, & Dance classes at Austin Arts Academy. Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt a surge of excitement. This presented her with the opportunity to ultimately explore choices for her children, Chord & Melody.
But then her excitement began to mix with nervousness. Harmony’s mind was swirling with doubts. What if they weren't good enough? What if the other students were far more skilled than children? What if they couldn't keep up with the lessons? These fears, like ominous clouds, overshadowed her initial enthusiasm. Despite her apprehensions, Harmony mustered the courage to scan the QR code on the poster and inquire about the enrollment process.
As Harmony scrolled the Austin Arts Academy website she was encouraged by the smiling faces of all the happy students, but the enrollment process seemed more complex than she had anticipated. There were forms to fill out, fees to pay, and decisions to make about which classes to take. Harmony felt a knot forming in her stomach. The fear of the unknown resurfaced as she contemplated taking this significant step into uncharted territory.
Suddenly, a pop-up materialized on the screen: “Don't know where to start? Save time with our free guide-learn how music, art and dance lessons benefit your child.” Intrigued, she considered how this might offer assistance. Without hesitation, she tapped on Get the Free Guide, and then headed into HEB to collect her weekly groceries. While shopping, she anticipated checking her email later to determine the most suitable option for her to move forward.
Harmony wandered through the HEB aisles, skillfully maneuvered the self-checkout, and then returned home to her husband and children. Chord and Melody were in their rooms entertaining themselves and her husband was working away in his home office
While preparing the succulent coconut shrimp and expertly crafted parmesan-crusted fresh green beans and a salad, she indulged in sips of Sav Blanc. With a sense of relaxation, she accessed her email and perused the guide that awaited her in her inbox. The guide proved to be a valuable resource for Harmony, aiding her in deliberating and charting her own course of action.
With a deep breath, Harmony decided to enroll Chord and Melody in one of the Music, Art, & Dance classes offered at Austin Arts Academy. Keep reading below to find an in depth explanation of the 3 step Enrollment Process.
A Guide to the Enrollment Process in 3 Easy Steps:
1. Book
Click the “Book Now” button and fill out the form, choosing the age range, class type, or private lesson you’re interested in
Initiate the enrollment process by clicking the "Book Now" button on the website.
Fill Out Student Information: Complete the form which includes your child's information, choosing “child” or “adult” as the student type and adding the relevant information.
*adult students signing themselves up choose the adult option
*parents signing up children choose the child option.
Select Class: Below the student information on the Book Now form, choose the desired class from the list of available options, arranged by class type and age.
Fill Out Parent Information: Fill out the form with parent details.
Form Submission: After filling out the form, submit it. No payment is required at this stage.
2. Confirm
We’ll be in touch with you to confirm if your class has an open seat or if your private lesson request is an optionConfirmation Email: Once the form is submitted, an automated confirmation email is generated and sent to the email provided in parent information. This email acknowledges their class selection and informs them that further details will be provided.
Availability Confirmation: The program administrator reviews the enrollment request and class availability. They send a follow-up email to the parents confirming the class availability and reiterating the selected class.
Teacher and Class Details: In the confirmation email, you’ll receive detailed information about your child's assigned teacher, the class schedule, and any specific class-related information. This may include whether materials will be provided or any dates when the class won't be held.
Monthly Payment Information: The email also provides information about the monthly payment structure, detailing the amount, due dates, and payment methods.
Login Email: The confirmation email also includes a separate section where you are are informed that your login credentials will be sent separately via email. This grants them access to any online platforms or resources associated with the classes.
Nurture Sequence: Your email address is also added to a sequence of emails that help maintain communication, provide updates, and address any queries or concerns you might have as they approach the start date of the class. You will also receive a weekly newsletter.
Completion: With all the information provided and confirmed, the enrollment process is complete, it’s time to start!
3. Begin
Students learn AND enjoy the complete artistic experience with fun and engaging classes
This streamlined process ensures that parents can easily enroll their child in a class, receive necessary information, and stay engaged with updates, fostering a smooth and informative experience from start to finish.
And so the Journey Continues…
The first day of classes arrived, and Harmony found herself driving her kids to the Austin Arts Academy Studio in Steiner Ranch. Her heart raced as she heard the melodies of a piano being played inside and laughter from budding artists. Taking a deep breath, Harmony pushed open the door and stepped inside.
What she found inside was a welcoming environment filled with like-minded individuals. The instructors were not only skilled but also patient and understanding, fostering an atmosphere where creativity could flourish. Harmony soon realized that her fears of her children not being good enough were unfounded. Everyone was there to learn, grow, and support each other.
As the weeks passed, Harmony watched as Chord and Melody’s skills in Music, Art, & Dance began to improve. Her kids were discovering their own unique style and finding joy in expressing themselves through these creative outlets. They forged friendships with their fellow students, and together they embarked on a journey of exploration and self-discovery.
Looking back, Harmony realized that her initial hesitation to enroll had been rooted in fear and self-doubt. The enrollment process had seemed intimidating, but it was merely a gateway to a world of endless possibilities. Through this process, she learned that stepping out of her comfort zone was the key to unlocking her children’s true potential.
And so, in a story that began at HEB, Harmony’s experience became a testament to the importance of enrolling in such classes. It showcased the transformative power of embracing one's passions, overcoming fears, and embracing the beauty of growth and learning. Her journey with her children not only enriched her life and theirs, but also inspired others to take their own steps toward self-expression and creativity.
